How TK103B car gps tracking device works?

Simply insert a GSM sim card into the GPS unit. Whenever you call the unit it will respond with the coordinates of its location thru a SMS message. You can then use these coordinates on any mapping software (for example google earth) which will show where exactly the unit is located.

With some little setup, you can also have the device to send the data directly to a computer thru GPRS and display its location on a map with our bundled software for real-time location tracking. Of course, you can control your vehicle through our software.

The unit is powered by automotive battery, and should be installed inside a vehicle (preferably a place where it cannot be seen, for example, under the car seat). It runs on the latest GPS SiRF III chip-set, a sophisticated GPS microchip embedded into the heart of the tracker which continually reads its own location from low orbiting global satellites and then utilizes the GSM/GPRS infrastructure operated by your network provider to transmit its current location to you.

Then you can operate it on PC(google map or software Platform) and Mobile phone. All you need to do is insert a working SIM card, it even has Quad-band Connectivity so it works anywhere in the world.
